The fundraising committee of not-for-profit home and community care provider Maitland Community Care Services (MCCS) is hosting its annual shopping bus trip to Sydney on Saturday September 15.
The bus will stop at factory outlets as well as stores specialising in homewares and gifts, chocolates, nuts and sweets, toys, clothing, surf-wear and more. Cost is $45 per person, which includes morning tea.The bus departs from Maitland Train Station at 7am sharp and will return at about 6.30pm.
“Our shopping bus trip in September is always popular”, fundraising committee member Barbara Heckman said.
“It is a full day out and includes a visit to the factory outlets. Everyone is welcome.”
The fundraising event will help MCCS assist the frail, aged and those with a disability to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible.
