The fundraiser, which coincides with International Hospice and Palliative Care Day, will be held at the Artisan Gallery & Café, East Maitland (the Old George and Dragon Restaurant) in support of the proposed project.
The event will include raffles and an auction with many prizes on offer including a dinner for ten at the Gallery.
Many well known artists have also donated works to the fundraiser.
The event kicks off at 4pm and will run for two hours. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $20 per person. Ticket price includes a drink on arrival and nibbles. All money raised will go to Maitland’s Community Hospice Centre project.
Volunteers for Palliative Care coordinator Judith Robinson said she hoped the hospice project would be up and running by 2020.
