The fundraising night will go towards fitting out the rebuilt Howe Park facilities and allow the club to return home after fire destroyed the club rooms on the eve of last year's grand final.
The Hawks went on to win the 2018 premiership and work has begun at Howe Park.
Hawks president Dean Peterkin said the evening with Kenny and Simmons - both Kangaroos - promised to bring back plenty of memories for league fans.
Peterkin said tickets would be available on the night for $50 per person.
Auction items include a fully framed and signed Newcastle Knights jersey and two tickets to the Captain's Lounge for the Knights' game against the Cowboys on August 17, a Sydney Roosters jersey signed by the 2018 premiership team and a Wally Lewis signed Australian jersey.
On the field the Hawks can take a big step to securing their spot in the C-grade finals with victory against Wallsend Maryland at Kurri Kurri Sportsground on Saturday.
The Hawks, who sit fifth on the table, will be looking to bounce back after a 40-14 loss to third placed Tall Timbers last week.
Tall Timbers and Gloucester are both on 16 points, two points behind top side Aberglasslyn Ants. The Hawks (11 points) are one point behind fourth-placed Morisset and three clear of Budgewoi Bulldogs in sixth.
The Ants, who accounted for Raymond Terrace 38-16 last Sunday, are away to Talls Timbers on Saturday.
Woodberry can create a two-game buffer on Dudley in the battle for fifth spot on the A-grade ladder when the two teams face each other at Fred Harvey Oval on Saturday.
The Warriors game against Belmont Souths was postponed last week and they sit on 12 points, two points ahead of Dudley who were 20-28 losers to Windale last week.
Griffins under lights Friday
The East Maitland Griffins host Mallabula under lights on Friday night in round 13 of the B-grade competition.
The Griffins are sitting in sixth place with 7 points, four points behind University of Newcastle in fifth and seven points behind third placed Mallabula.
They did themselves no favours last week when they lost at home 28-22 to seventh-placed Shortland.
Kick off on Friday is at 7pm.
Morpeth are sitting on top of the B-grade table with 17 points, one clear of West Wallsend. after beating the Magpies 26-22 last round.
The Bulls can do the Griffins a huge favour on Saturday if they maintain their form and beat University as expected at Morpeth Oval.
Cobras lead way
The Clarence Town Cobras maintained their three game break on their Northern Conference rivals with a 54-12 win against Paterson Rivers.
The Cobras 10 try to two win included a hat-trick to Trai Brekelmans and doubles to joint-coach James Foot and young back Riley Hunter.
Clarence Town are six points clear of Dungog who maintained second spot with a 48-26 win against Tea Gardens on Sunday.
Hinton and Stround are just a point behind Dungog on the ladder, separated by for and against points.
The Hornets had a 54-24 win against Maitland United at Coronation Park last Saturday, while Stroud beat Karuah 54-12.
In this weekend's games Dungog hosts Stroud at Bennett Park in the only Saturday game. On Sunday Hinton host Paterson River at Stuart Park at 1pm, Clarence Town host Tea Gardens from 2pm and fifth placed Maitland United take on Karuah at Coronation Park from 3pm.
The Aberglasslyn Ants can effectively claim their third Ladies League Tag A-grade minor premiership in a row with victory against Raymond Terrace at Lakeside Oval on Saturday.
The Ants were 54-0 winners against Terrace last Sunday. They are four points clear of their arch rivals University of Newcastle with both teams having three games to play.
Dungog and Stroud battle for top spot in LLT C-grade at Bennett Park on Saturday. Both teams have 21 points, four clear of Shortland.
Maitland United host Windale and Clarence Town are away to Shortland on Saturday.
