That's the secret to a long and happy marriage, according to lovebirds Gary and Denese Hume.
And they should know because they've been married for 43 years.

"You'll have your good days and bad days but you have to talk it through," Mrs Hume said.
In fact, the pair were happy to share their story ahead of this year's Seniors Festival which will centre around celebrations and love.
This year's theme is 'Love to Celebrate'.
Starting on Wednesday, Maitland Council will be hosting more than 60 activities including its first Valentine's Day Love Seat experience at The Levee, to celebrate love in all of its forms.
"We invite the community to come along to The Riverlink on Valentine's Day to take part in this unique opportunity," council's community and recreation planning coordinator Emily Livens said.
"Come along with your loved ones and friends, share your tips for a lasting relationship and have your photo taken in our vintage scene."
The Valentine's Day Love Seat will be an opportunity for couples, families and friends, to reminisce, share their stories and have their photo taken.
The Festival, which runs until Sunday, will feature a variety of free and low cost activities and events from meditation to aqua fitness, croquet to technology lessons, an Aboriginal art workshop and more.
