After taking out the Mrs Planet division of the Mrs Australia Quest, Amanda, 30, is about to take her message overseas.
“I’ll be heading off in about eight weeks for the world titles and I can’t wait,” Mrs Barrass, of Weston, said.
“This time there’ll be a talent section, which is right up my ally, and of course I’ll be singing.”
Since October, Mrs Barrass has raised $10,000 for ovarian cancer research, a cause close to her heart.
“My mum survived ovarian and breast cancer and last year she raised $9000 to win a category in the Mrs Australia Quest, so I feel extremely honoured to be doing this this year,” she said.
“Being part of this quest has been fabulous because it really helps you grow as a person and it’s also something I hope my children [Rhys, 6, and Evan, 5] will be proud of.”
