Benhome Auxiliary’s Annette Dorn and Cheryl Holdom said the annual trivia night is the biggest fundraising event on the organisation’s calendar and has helped provide beds, exercise equipment and even a bus to the elderly residents of the home.
“I always say to the residents, there’s no place like home. But this runs a close second,” Ms Dorn, whose mother is a resident at Benhome, said.
The trivia night will be held at East Maitland Bowling Club on August 26 from 7pm. Contact Cheryl on 0428 301 479 for information.
