The words #MyMaitland have been emblazoned on a wall on the city library grounds facing the intersection of High Street and Belmore Road.
The hashtag – a common grouping tool used on social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram – is being used to promote the city online and encourage a growing sense of community.
