The Thornton mother of four founded Kis Marketing four years ago and works with corporate clients across Australia.
She said the accolade proved that if you are passionate, proactive and do the right thing you can achieve greatness.
She started the business from her home and will soon open an office in East Maitland to meet the increasing demand for marketing advice.
“I was truly humbled and so excited to even make it as a finalist for the award but to actually win it was thrilling,” she said.
“I have an excellent team at home and an amazing team at work, it is a gift to be able to work with great people and do a job you love every day.
“I love marketing and I love helping businesses to succeed and as our clients thrive our business does also.”
She will now represent the Hunter at the NSW Chamber awards in November.
