The Mercury has topped its class to win best news website two years in a row.
The Mercury has topped its class to win best news website two years in a row.

The Maitland Mercury has won the Pacific Area Newspaper Publishers' Association award for community news website of the year. The Mercury was named winner of the award, for the second year in a row, in Sydney on Friday night. Photographer Perry Duffin was highly commended for his entries in the categories of community news photography and community features and lifestyle photography. Mercury stablemate the Newcastle Herald won regional news site of the year and regional newspaper of the year.
