Director Leilani Boughton has pulled together a talented cast for one of Noel Coward's most enduring comedies which continues to be an audience favourite.
The plot begins with novelist Charles Condomine living with his second wife, Ruth.
He invites a medium, Madame Arcati, to his house to research the spirit world for his new book.
But Charles gets more than he bargained for when Madame Arcati conjures up the ghost of his first wife, Elvira. Difficult would be an understatement.
Caught between one living wife and one dead wife, both jealous of the other, Charles thinks matters couldn't get worse.
Blithe will run at 8pm on September 14, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30; and October 1. Matinees will run at 2pm on September 18 and 25.
Tickets are $22 or $17 for concession. Book on maitlandreptheatre.org or 4931 2800.
