As part of the project, older members of the Indigenous community will be able to access their scripts through Mindaribba rather than travelling to the pharmacy.
Hunter New England Health's chronic disease team, Mindaribba and Amcal will also assist land council members with free access to diabetes testing machines and other services such as provision of Webster packs.
The aim is to have pharmacy staff trained by Christmas to launch the program in January.
They also hope to expand the range of services in the future.
