The Animation Spectacular, a part of the gallery’s Free Art January, will feature a stopmotion workshop with award winning filmmaker Jane Shadbolt.
People can learn how to make stop motion animation and discover how to turn ordinary everyday objects into motion picture masterpieces using only a phone or tablet.
Animator-illustratorr Jessica McLeod-Yu will host an artist talk while web-comic illustrator Alex Scobell will give an introduction to the artform.
The Animation Spectacular will run from 11am until 8pm.
