The latest incident occurred on May 7 when police saw a Mazda ute driving east on Mount View Road, Cessnock about 9.50pm.
They had received information that the driver may be intoxicated.
Police stopped the vehicle and issued a breath test to the 26-year-old driver.
He allegedly returned a positive reading. Police also discovered he had allegedly been charged two weeks prior for high-range drink driving and had his licence disqualified until August 2021.
The man was arrested and taken to Cessnock Police Station where he allegedly recorded .258 in a breath analysis.
He was charged for high-range drink driving and driving whilst disqualified. He will appear in Cessnock Local Court later this month.
