And, you couldn’t blame her.
The 19-year-old from Bolwarra Heights was crowned Maitland Showgirl 2018.
Inspired by her family’s ties to the Maitland Show, the local teen decided to enter the annual competition.
She will spend the next 12 months being an ambassador for young people in her city.
“I’ve always had a lot to do with the show, I’ve always gone every year since I was a little girl,” she said last month.
“I like that the show brings the community together and really shows people that don’t know much about agriculture a little bit about it.”
Miss Hipwell was joined in the competition by fellow contestants Breanna Murrell, 22; Meghan Gillespie, 22; Macia Borowiec, 20; and Karleigha Melmeth, 21.
