Police confirmed three wallets were stolen from both the home and away team sheds during the first grade match between Norths and City at Lorn Park.
At least one card has been used for fraud, including three separate purchases at Maitland Kmart.
Norths president Will Callinan said the incident was “very disappointing”.
“From a club’s point of view, there’s not much we can do (other than leave it with police)...it’s very disappointing for this to happen over at Lorn Park,” he said.
Players have been urged by the Maitland and District Cricket Association not to leave wallets, mobile phones, car keys or any other personal belongings in dressing sheds unattended.
