Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley hosted their first of two April school holiday pasta making classes for children on Tuesday afternoon.
Children learned how to create their pasta from scratch, in a variety of flavours.
Crowne Plaza chef Andrew McDonald was on hand to teach them how to produce the Italian favourite.
Mr McDonald first learned the art of pasta creation at 10-years-old in the kitchen with his mother.
Since then, he has continued to improve on the skill and share it with others.
“I love pasta because there are so many different things you can do with it,” he said.
“There is so much variety; you can keep it simple, but you can also go a little over the top too.”
Those who missed out do not need to worry.
Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley will host another pasta making class on Tuesday, April 24.
Cost is $25 per person.
For children with more of a sweet tooth, there will be icing cookie decorating between 2pm and 3pm today, and Sunday, April 22, for $15 per person.
Working off the energy will be easy with the other activities available during the break.
There will be golf lessons on Thursday, April 19, and Monday, April 23, from 2pm to 3pm, on the activity lawn.
There is no cost to attend but bookings are essential.
And, the ever popular high tea will return on April 21 and 27, with a Willy Wonka theme.
Cost is $29 for adults and children 3 years and older.
