Community Kids Thornton was opened by Maitland MP Jenny Aitchison on Saturday, with the day care already fielding dozens of inquiries from families with demand for early childhood education in the area soaring.
“I welcome Community Kids Thornton to my electorate and look forward to its involvement in the early education of our local children,” Ms Aitchison said.
“The importance of early learning opportunities should never be underestimated because it allows our children to begin building the foundational learning and social skills that’ll be essential for when they commence their school education.”
The facility is the latest addition to the booming suburb of Thornton and aims to meet the increasing demand for child care from local families.
