The Maitland Branch of the Commonwealth Bank (Pender Place) will have a dedicated fundraising today where they will host a barbecue in front of the branch as well as a cake stall and raffle.

Customers are also invited to ‘sponsor a hay bale’ and put it up on the fundraising wall in the branch.
It is part of the bank’s region-wide fundraising initiative for the Burrumbuttock Hay Runners who are which is delivering much needed hay to assist drought stricken farmers across regional NSW.
All 162 Commonwealth Bank branches in regional NSW will be supporting the Hay Runners, with customers also able to donate $20 towards a bale of hay.
