Police have released a CCTV image in relation to the theft of $10,000 worth of jewellery from a Green Hills business.

The large amount of jewellery was stolen from Simon Curwood Jewellers at the Stockland shopping centre about 6.15pm on Friday.
Police said a man broke into the store, busted open a display cabinet and stole six rings and two pairs of earrings, valued at about $10,000 in total.
The most luxurious item stolen was a ring worth about $6000.

At the time of the offence, the man was in the company of an unknown woman who was standing nearby whilst the jewellery was stolen.
Police said the pair were spotted driving to the shopping centre in a white hatchback which was parked outside the Green Hills Veterinary Clinic on Mitchell Drive.
