The Bureau of Meterology (BOM) recorded a low of 6.9 degrees at Maitland on Tuesday morning - and it felt like it too.
Naturally, people of Maitland can expect more mornings like this leading into winter.
According to the BOM, New South Wales is about to shift towards cool, wintry conditions over the course of this week due to two fronts passing through.
"Saturday morning is expected to be the coldest, but a dry day, with widespread sub-zero temperatures over the ranges," a BOM spokesperson said.
For the week ahead, Maitland's lowest predicted minimum temperature at this stage is 5 degrees on Sunday, and a top of 19.
