A trivia night - combined with raffles, an auction and a barbecue - will be held on Thursday, August 8 in the hall at Tocal College.
It's the brainchild of Tocal College students who have drawn on their student-led Rotaract group to host the community event.
Proceeds will go to Slow Food Hunter Valley's Upper Hunter drought-relief box drive, which is sending fresh fruit and vegetables to farmers in Gundy each month.
It's a fitting tribute. These students understand the challenges farmers face during drought and they will become the farmers of the future.

The barbecue starts at 5.30pm and the trivia questions begin at 6.30pm. Cost is $5 per person or $20 for a family.
To reserve a place call or text Lakin Agnew on 0438 627 654, or turn up on the day.
