Riders from across NSW, visiting stars from interstate and a whopping 110 Maitland racers are set to deliver two days of high-flying, fast-paced action at the club's Tenambit headquarters.
Maitland's charge will be led by a number of reigning state champions and highly credentialled riders.
Among the Maitland riders to watch are Zane Bourke (10 boys), Zalia Monkley (11 girls), Porschea Longbottom (12 girls), Lachlan Moore (15 boys) and Zachary Moore (16 boys).
All up there are a whopping 899 entries for the titles ranging from under-five to 50 plus rides and of course the elite men and women's category.
Maitland BMX publicity officer Darren Muncaster said sports fans will be in for a treat with back-to-back racing throughout the two days.
"Entry is free and there are refreshments and food available at the track," Muncaster said.
The event starts with an opening ceremony at 10.30am with racing from noon and going throughout the day. Sunday's racing start from 10am.
Club president Adam Thomsen said the event wouldn't be possible with out the tireless efforts on the board and Maitland Events Committee who have worked tirelessly for the past 12 months to bring the event to Maitland and make it a success.
