* Brisbane woman Julie Richards, 47, and her daughter Jessica, 20.
* Adelaide man Gavin Dallow, 53.
* Mr Dallow's family says his stepdaughter, 15-year-old Zoe Hosking, is also presumed dead on White Island.
* New Zealand police have named three more Australians as missing, presumed dead on the island: Melbourne woman Krystal Browitt, 21, and Coffs Harbour couple Karla Mathews, 32, and Richard Elzer, 32.
* Fears are also held for two Sydney families: Anthony and Kristine Langford, son Jesse, 19, and daughter Winona, 17, are unaccounted for. Martin and Barbara Hollander and teenage sons Berend and Matthew have also not been heard from.
* Twenty-four Australians were on a tour of White Island, also known as Whakaari, when the volcano erupted on Monday, spewing smoke, ash and debris thousands of metres into the air.
* The Australians, aged between 17 and 72, were on a day trip from the Royal Caribbean cruise liner Ovation of the Seas.
* Other injured Australians are in hospitals across New Zealand. Some could be brought home by RAAF aircraft on Thursday.

Mr Dallow's wife Lisa, 48, is in a Hamilton hospital with severe burns.
Sydney couple Marion London, 56 and husband Nick are in hospital with severe burns.
Coffs Harbour man Jason Griffiths has severe burns to 80 per cent of his body.
