As part of their Movember campaign, All Saints' College's Assistant Principal, Nathan Mansfield, and Leader of Learning for PE, Matthew Thomas walked 36.5 kilometres on Friday morning, all the way from Charlestown to the school.
They set off at 11:30pm on Thursday and ended their journey 6.5 hours later after walking through highways and back roads.
The two teachers are running off very little sleep at the moment, and Mr Mansfield said he's starting to really feel it now but it's all for a great cause.
In other news:
"The main purpose for us is looking at men's health and especially mental health," he said.
"It's always a little bit of a challenge getting the boys to talk about mental health, so our awareness is mainly about telling the boys they can open up if they need to.
"We have great counselors here and the boys are comfortable in seeing them, but we want more boys to do it."
A number of teachers at the school are currently rocking a mustache for November, although Mr Mansfield said his wife is not exactly a fan of his new look.
The driving force behind the walk is a physical challenge for Movember to raise awareness for men's mental health, suicide prevention and prostate cancer.
So far, the All Saints' team have fundraised $990 for the cause.
Mr Mansfield said the students were positive about the walk and they certainly saw him limping around school afterward.
