Windsor Castle, Western Suburbs, a combined Kurri-Pedans outfit and defending champions Northern Suburbs are to play matches on Sunday.
Windsor Castle will travel to the Central Coast to take on The Entrance following a six-wicket victory against Singleton-based JPC last weekend.
Windsor Castle chased down the required 132 for the loss of only four wickets with Jarrod Bailey (62 not out) and Andrew Webeck the mainstays at Bowthorne.
The opening round game could have been over much earlier with JPC putting on a half-century last-wicket stand after being 9-80.
Windsor Castle will turn their attention to securing a semi-final spot in the annual one-day knockout competition.
Closer to home, Western Suburbs will host Valleys at Coronation Oval on Sunday after comfortably accounting for Port Stephens at King Park 5 a fortnight ago.
And out at Howe Park, home of the Abermain Hawks rugby league club, it will be a merged Kurri Kookaburras and Pedan’s Hotel side that welcomes 2013-2014 winners Northern Suburbs.
Play starts at 10.30am.
