Last year’s beaten grand finalists had a dismal start to 2016-17 but have turned their fortunes around on the back of two strong bowling performances.
The Stallions bundled Raworth out for 85 with Kris Sturmer leading the way with 4-27 at Schanck Drive on Saturday.
He was well supported by Luke Kijko, who took 2-22 from eight overs, and Aaron Clack who finished with 2-10 from four.
Opener Jason Bower and No.4 Jason Beveridge offered the only real resistance with the bat scoring 21 and 24 respectively.
Windor Castle openers Chad Ryan (46) and Joshua McInnes (27) got the Stallions off to a flyer, before Kevin Torrens (14) steered the visitors home in the 15th over.
The win takes Windsor Castle to fourth on the ladder with 18 points. The Pythons lead with 26 followed by Paterson 21 and Kurri Kurri 20.
Dungog thumped
Dungog found out just how much pain a smarting Port Stephens Pythons outfit can inflict when they were bundled out for 75 at King Park 5 on Saturday in the Maitland and District Cricket Association A-grade round seven fixture.
Any chance Dungog had ended when Jackson Bell, who was backing up from a century, was run out for 22.
Martin Osmond offered resistance with 17 and Terry Drinkwater and Jake Clifton both contributed 10.
But the Dungog batsmen had no answers for Adam Butler and Allan Baldwin who tore through the line-up with 4-10 off eight overs and 3-14 off six respectively.

Dungog made an early break through when Port opener Grant Garland was dismissed for a duck but Craig Hunter (22) and Jarrod Moxey (27 not out) quickly righted things and the Pythons passed Dungog’s total in the 17th over with eight wickets in hand.
Paterson wins
Paterson moved back into second spot chasing down a respectable Kurri Kurri total of 164 at Howe Park.
Dean Bridges (3-24), Russell Presland (3-42) and Brad Bidner (3-42) shared the wickets as Peter Brennan and Jamie Carter top scored with 62 and 53 respectively.
Bidner steadied the ship with the bat after Paterson after they lost three quick wickets cheaply.
His 63 and a valuable 49 not out from Russell Presland enabled Paterson to reach the total in the 35th over with two wickets to spare.
The A-grade competitions return on January 7. The T20 comp during the break is being finalised.
