Western Suburbs skipper Tom Irwin, Kurri Weston paceman Alex Seamer, reigning Raymond Terrace premiership captain Steve Smith and Port Stephens captain Josh Moxey have all taken on coaching roles.
They will be joined by former Sydney Premier Grade cricketer Chris Walker and two of Maitland’s most talented young cricketers Jacob Page and Shannon Threlfo to guide the under-12 through to under-16 campaigns in the IDCA competition which features teams from Sydney, Newcastle and Illawarra.
The under-13 to under-16 teams were announced after trials on Sunday.
The under-12 team is coached by Irwin with Mitch Fisher and Shannon Threlfo assisting.
